KCLR 96fm has become a media partner for the 2008 Éigse Festival in Carlow.
The festival which takes place this year from June 7th to 15th features a dramatic programme of cutting edge performance and a dynamic programme of visual arts, music, theatre, dance, children’s events and street spectacle.
As media partner KCLR 96fm will provide a wide range of news coverage and information, programme features, interviews and daily updates on festival activities.
The station is also sponsoring “Vibrations in the Park” a special event in Carlow Town Park on Saturday June 7th.
It is a family event which is free of charge and features the Black Eagles from Tanzania; Slide from Ireland and the Dublin Gospel Choir.
